It’s been a nice fall here in the St. Louis region this year. During our Photo Flood in the Benton Park neighborhood last weekend I saw these beautiful colors reflecting in the water.

Rain
Wow, it’s been raining pretty much non-stop for the last couple of days. When all is said and done we’re supposed to have anywhere from 5-8 inches of rain since Friday. As I was going to bed last night I saw this puddle in the front yard and the street lights glowing. Thought it made a nice scene.

Macro Mum
Had a chance to try out my new macro lens this morning. I loved how I can get up so close to this mum wet with raindrops. Got a lot to learn though on doing macro photography.

Takeoff
I love going to Horseshoe Lake State Park and looking for birds. Besides the pelicans yesterday I was able to get this nice silhouette shot of a Great Blue Heron taking off.
