Been a while since I’ve posted. This shot is from the Watershed Nature Center in Edwardsville Illinois after our first real snowfall of the year. It came a bit early but made for some nice shots.

My first sighting of Trumpeter Swans at the Riverlands Migratory Bird Sanctuary near Alton. I love listening to them early in the morning. They get quite loud and it is magical to hear. Lots of other bird sightings there today plus a few nice bucks evading the hunters.

Lots of Coots at the Riverlands Migratory Bird Sanctuary in West Alton this morning. Didn’t see much else unfortunately. Did run into a fellow photographer friend of mine who was out shooting also.
